"Ghostcatching"   Choreographer/dancer Bill T. Jones, and artists Paul Kaiser and Shelly Eshkar collaborated on Ghostcatching, a pioneering digital project. (Kaiser and Eshkar comprise Riverbed.) It has already functioned in at least three ways: as a projected installation in a gallery; as a stand-alone number in Jones's solo dance programs; and as choreographic documentation. The work employs recently developed motion sensing software--the images will give you an idea of how this works--elegantly transfomed through Kaiser's drawing-oriented sensibility into art.
