For Jim, With Love: in Remembrance of Jim Blanc, 1959-1996 (1996?)—video tribute, probably compiled for a memorial service, comprising still photographs and moving images depicting the life of dancer Jim Blanc from babyhood through adulthood; accompanied by music but no narration; some rehearsal and performance footage is included; one VHS videocassette (14 min.); call number MGZIA 4-2459.

A brief interview with Robby Barnett of Pilobolus (27 October 2000):

"Pilobolus' work is choreographed by the Artistic Directors in cooperation with its dancers, and the company has a consistent record of acknowledging the contributions of dancers who participate in the process by offering them collaborative choreographic attribution. Jim was an exceptionally imaginative—and very funny—man and his creative contributions to our work were memorable."

Robby Barnett and Jonathan Wolken choreographed Gnomen (1997) to Jim Blanc's memory. The dedication in the program reads: "This piece is dedicated to the memory of our friend and colleague, Jim Blanc. It was made possible in part by contributions from his family and friends as well as by a commission from the American Dance Festival."
