IDENTIFICATION AND BIO:
A staff instructor at Philadelphia's Jazz Dance Center, Stephan A. Love founded the Next Generation Dance Theater for urban youths in 1985. His dancers, age 10 to 17, performed at community functions and charity benefits, as well as at the famous Apollo Theater in Harlem. Love died of AIDS-related causes.

According to a New York Times obituary (see below), Love was survived by his companion, Terrence Connell; his mother and stepfather, Elizabeth and Charles Dickerson; his father, Arthur Love; two sisters, Dawn Love and Joyce Love-Wilcox; and two brothers, Frederick Purnell and Kenneth Love. None of these survivors were found in searches of the internet.
